Paddlers, push in Kuujjuaq!

Paddlers push their way to the finish line Tuesday in the Aqpik Jam week canoe race. The event is organized by Kuujjuaq Pinguatitsijingiit, the village’s recreation committee. The first-place crew of eight completed the nearly eight-kilometre route from Kuujjuaq’s beach to the marina in about one hour and 10 minutes. The winning participants each took home a $300 prize.
